Michel Aubenas’ Afrobeat Band rehearses for New Year’s Eve

 

This week ‘At the Château’ the Blues & Rock musician Michel Aubenas has been rehearsing with his new line up: Sebastian Crouzilles on percussion, Stéphane Paoli on Bass guitar, Jean Brice Louis on Sax, Nicolas Michaux on guitar & Tim Hazael on the kongas. Michel describes his dynamic new band as a mix of ‘Afro funk beat’. Originally hailing from his native country of Benin where he has been inspired by the rhythms of African ‘Afrobeat rock’ & blues.
